Food TranSmarter @ CUHK

Under the Innovation and Technology Fund, our collaboration with Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) and the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) since 2019 has also seen the birth of the 3rd generation of our food waste pre-treatment unit, the FoodTranSmarter.

The Food TranSmarter works by converting food waste into slurry through mechanical grinding and bio-chemical decomposition, storing it in airtight tanks ready for easy and convenient collection.

With a treatment capacity of 500 kg food waste/day, our Food TranSmarter is also the practical keystone to our vision of a decentralized and economical approach to the Food Waste Problem.
